Is a career in Direct Sales for you?

If you are interested in running your own business the first thing you need to do is decide what kind of business most interests you. It is also important to determine the amount of start-up funds, which will be available to you.

If you don’t have unlimited time and money to start your own business, all is not lost. A career in direct sales could be the answer. This is especially true if you are outgoing and not to pursue something that can offer you unlimited income potential.

(Let’s face it; who wants to work for an hourly wage when commissions can be so much higher.)

There are literally hundreds of companies that offer direct sales opportunities. It’s not just Tupperware or Avon, anymore.

The majority of companies require you to purchase a basic sales kit when you sign on with them. It includes sample products and all the paperwork needed, for you to get started.

As a rule, you have the option of selling via home-parties, the Internet, fairs and festivals or simply to the people in your comfort zone. The possibilities are only limited to your imagination.

Not only do you earn a commission for the products that you sell, it’s also possible to recruit people into your ‘downline’, as well. You then earn extra commission, based on their sales figures.
